Agent First Steps
This article is for agents logging into Gnatta for the first time - you’ll need an admin to create your account and invite you first! If you’re an admin, check out the articles under Setting Up Gnatta
First, navigate to your Gnatta domain. Gnatta domain URLs are typically formatted like mycompany.gnatta.com
- if you’re not sure what your domain URL is, check with an admin! You can type it straight into your URL bar, and make a bookmark for it if you like.
Sign in with either your username and password, or SSO (single sign on) if it’s been enabled for your domain. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll land on the homepage for your domain. With basic User permissions assigned, you should be able to see the following:
There are four primary navigation areas that you might need:
1 - Interactions
Clicking on Interactions
in the navbar will open your personal radar - that is, a view of the interactions currently assigned to you. More on this here: Your Interactions Radar . In the screenshot, you can see the radar is already open, because the Interactions icon is highlighted purple, though we don’t have any interactions assigned yet!
2 - Links
Clicking on Links
will reveal a list of bookmarks your Gnatta Admin thinks might be useful - such as a Knowledgebase / Wiki, or other systems you’ll need. Clicking on one of these will open it in a new tab.
3 - Widgets
Clicking on Widgets
will reveal any extra tools installed your domain. You can think of these as apps, or add-ins. Selecting one will open it up right alongside your Interactions radar, so it’s handy whenever you need it.
4 - User Tools
On the right hand side, you’ll find a few extra tools:
Data Search is not available with standard ‘User’ permissions. Contact an admin to change your permission settings.
Data Search
- find an interaction using the data stored against itOpen Interaction
- simply type in an interaction ID to navigate to a specific issue in a flash!Notifications
- this is where you’ll find alerts from your admin team that might affect your work (like a warehousing issue, or a change to your processes, etc).
Â
You
- log out, change your user state and adjust language settings.
You won’t be assigned interactions unless you are set to an online state - that is, one with a green indicator! These may have different names in your domain, such as ‘Available’.

What’s next?
That’s the basic navigation steps covered! Next, let’s dive into the agent view - the Interactions radar itself.
