License Types

In this article, we’ll explore some useful definitions for Gnatta licenses and billing types. For the license types and model you are currently being billed against, refer to your most recent contract - or for our current product tiers please refer to: https://gnatta.com/pricing
User vs Seat Billing Model
Some premium Gnatta tiers aren’t billed per named user, they’re billed based on the number of users you need logged in at the same time.
Per seat plans can have unlimited agents, sharing only the number of licenses you actually need - like desks in an office. For larger operations that need flexible shifts (and especially overnight shifts) concurrent usage pricing like this can offer significant economies of scale.

Full User vs Admin Licenses
Regardless of the billing model (i.e. seats vs users) on your given tier, you can additionally request Admin
licenses instead of a Full User
. The respective definitions are as follows:
💬
Full User
: Any Gnatta user that needs to respond to customers/send external messages.⚙️
Admin
: Any Gnatta user that does not need to respond to customers.
Users & Admins can both have access to all areas in Gnatta (such as reporting, settings or Workflow) - but only those who need to respond to customers should be billed for a full license. Admin
licenses are billed at a reduced rate (depending on your current Gnatta tier), so it's worthwhile identifying members of your team who only need access to Gnatta, without needing to engage or send messages.
Admin
licenses can be billed on a seat model too - you’ll just need to provide us with a list of approved admins that can use those seats.
Gnatta Core Team Access
Unlike other Gnatta tiers, Gnatta Core offers a unique Team billing model for small team requirements. This means you’re billed a flat fee for access to Gnatta, with a maximum number of users. Seat billing models and admin licenses are currently unavailable on this tier. Please check here for more information on Gnatta Core.
